Downtown Stockton hotel building hit with second fire in 1 year

For the second time in less than a year, a fire broke out at an abandoned downtown Stockton resort creating.

No injuries were described in the Tuesday, Could 3 two-alarm fireplace at 9 N. Stanislaus St.,

The creating, at the corner of Main and Stanislaus streets, experienced beforehand been gutted by a two-alarm fire in July 2021.

At about 3:20 p.m., Stockton firefighters arrived at the property at the northeast corner of Stanislaus and Main streets, Stockton Fire Office Battalion Main Bryan Carr reported.

Two Stockton Fire Office ladder trucks and at minimum 50 % a dozen fireplace engines have been on scene, smoke was continue to billowing from the building at about 3:45 p.m.
